昨天半夜，不少媒体都在报道同一条新闻：
MarkRonson出柜！
当然了，事情并没有那么简单。
首先，MarkRonson是世界一流的金牌音乐制作人。他给AmyWinehouse，Adele，LadyGaga，火星哥BrunoMars，MileyCyrus等著名歌手制作过音乐，比如AmyWinehouse的Rehab和火星哥的UptownFunk，也凭借给LadyGaga制作的Shallow拿过奥斯卡金球奖和艾美奖。
然后，所谓的“出柜”故事具体是这样的。Mark去《早安英国》做客，正赶上节目在讨论法国部长MarleneSchiappa自称是智性恋的事。在他前面的嘉宾，作家NichiHodgson对法国部长表示支持，她说自己多年来交往过男性，也交往过女性，以为自己是双性恋，后来才明白其实自己是智性恋，爱上的是对方的脑子。聪明人令她痴迷，不论性别。她还表示世界上有不少人都是如此，只是不知道还有个专门的词汇来形容而已。
Mark在后台听到这一话题，也跟节目的几个制作人进行了辩论。于是在节目上聊到Mark跟前妻分手后创作的新专辑时，主持人cue到了这场关于智性恋的后台辩论。
Mark表示，对啊，我觉得自己就是智性恋。之前不知道还有个专门的词呢。
另一位主持人立刻表示：啊那你就是在我们《早安英国》的节目上出柜宣布自己是智性恋咯！
然后就有了“MarkRonson出柜“的新闻报道。
虽然这事感觉有点人家就那么一说，但主持人非要强行祝贺的意思，但如果MarkRonson确实认同自己是智性恋的话，那我们祝福他。不过今天要说的关键仍然是单词。

从脸盲到智性恋
智性恋sapiosexual=sapiens智慧+sexual，比如智人homosapiens，还记得《老友记》的段子不？
重点来啦！有网友在看完MarkRonson的新闻之后，表示自己是“颜性恋“”钱性恋“，并询问是否有这样的英文单词。
之前我也说过，虽然没有，但咱们可以造词，比如颜性恋可以是prosoposexual或者简单一点facesexual，不过钱性恋这词就比较麻烦了，总不能说是Chandlersexual吧！
拉丁语里跟财富相关的词根是pluto，没错，就是冥王星/冥王普鲁托那个词，因为罗马神话里冥王跟财神混在一起，所以pluto前缀是跟财富相关的，比如plutocracy财阀统治。
但是！如果造出plutosexual这样的词会非常地creepy，令人感觉你有什么重口味的嗜好。
仔细想了一下，其实是一开始就跑偏了。智性恋sapiosexual的sexual跟heterosexual异性恋homosexual同性恋bisexual双性恋pansexual泛性恋等等相同，是带有激发情欲，令人性奋的意味。所以智性恋不只是喜欢聪明人，而是会因为他人的智力而产生性冲动的一种性倾向。
如果只是精神上爱的话，对智慧的爱有个非常古老而且眼熟的词：philosophy
philo爱+sophia智慧=lovewisdom爱智慧=哲学
刚才的问题用这个词就可以解决了！
大家说的颜性恋也好钱性恋也罢，其实说的是喜爱甚至是嗜好，而英文里用来表示这种喜爱和嗜好的，恰恰就是哲学的词根衍生出的各种phile
xxx+phile=xxxlover=xxx爱好者/嗜好xxx的人
比如爱猫的人Ailurophile:(n.)apersonwholikescats,acatlover.
爱狗的人Cynophile:Apersonwholovescanines,adoglover.
爱书的人Bibliophile:apersonwhocollectsorhasagreatloveofbooks.
还有爱躺着不起床的人Clinophile:aloverofreclining,lyinginbed.
上面几个词还都比较好认，因为你认识犬儒的cynic，圣经bible，clinic（躺着看病的）医院，所以并不难猜。类似的一眼能看出的phile还有，

当然也有容易认错的phile，比如autophile可不是热爱汽车的人，而是热爱独处的人
Autophile:(n.)apersonwholovessolitude,beingalone.词缀auto是self自己的意思。
hippophile也不是爱河马的人，而是爱马之人。
Hippophile:(n.)apersonwholoveshorses.我们熟悉的河马hippopotamus是hippo马+potamus河流
logophile也不是喜欢logo图案的人，而是热爱文字的人。
Logophile:(n.)apersonwholoveswords.逻辑logic也是同根词，来自logos词语。
photophile也不是爱拍照的人，而是热爱光明的人。因为就像tele不是电一样，photo也不是照片，而是光。
Photophile:(n.)apersonwholoveslight.
最后回到我们的问题，“钱性恋”其实应该说成爱财plutophilia，而爱财之人就是plutophile，以后你再想说自己是“钱性恋”的时候，直接说Imaplutophile就可以了。
